WHAT IS BAPTISM?

Baptism is an ordinance of the church where a person is submerged in water as an

outward symbol of their relationship with Christ. Through Baptism believers are

given the opportunity to remember or express God’s goodness and grace by taking

part in a symbolic representation of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Romans 6:4 - Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism

into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of

the father, so we too might walk in newness of life
